FS218 Schraubenbefestigung, Hand-Rückstellung
FS219 Schraubenbefestigung, Hand- und elektrische
Rückstellung
Entsprechend dem aufgeklebten Anschlussbild.
Verdrahtungsarbeiten am Zähler nur ausführen, wenn
keine Spannungsversorgung anliegt, wegen Kurz-
schlussgefahr bei Masseberührung.
Rückstelltaste (1) bis zum Anschlag durchdrücken
und festhalten. Gewünschte Zahl durch Drücken der
Vorwahltasten eintasten (2). Reihenfolge beliebig.
Rückstelltaste loslassen. Rückstelltaste nochmals drü-
cken, um sich zu vergewissern, dass die gewünschte
Zahl einwandfrei eingestellt ist.
Der Zähler subtrahiert von der vorgewählten Zahl und
löst bei Null einen Umschaltkontakt aus. Dieser bleibt
in Arbeitsstellung bis zur manuellen oder elektrischen
Rückstellung, auch wenn weitere Zählimpulse einge-
hen. Dasselbe gilt für einen eventuelle eingebauten
Vorkontakt.
FS218: Einmaliges Drücken der Rückstelltaste
genügt, um den gleichen Zählvorgang zu
wiederholen.
FS219: Der Rückstellmagnet ist im Zähler eingebaut.
Hier genügt ein Rückstellimpuls von ca. 300
ms (max. 1 Minute) oder einmaliges Drücken
der Rückstelltaste, um den gleichen Zählvor-
gang zu wiederholen.
Zulässig ist max. alle 10 Sekunden eine Rückstellung.
Sonderausführung:
Rückstellmagnet mit Thermoelement geschützt. Bei
versehentlicher Dauerschaltung erfolgt die Abschal-
tung nach ca. 6 Min. Das Thermoelement kann
daraufhin nur durch Drücken eines in der Oberseite
des Zählergehäuses befindlichen Stößels wieder
funktionsfähig gemacht werden.

Bei induktiver Last Funkenlöschung vorsehen.
Die Zähler arbeiten bis zu 50 Millionen Zählimpulsen
und 600 000 Rückstellungen wartungsfrei. Um eine
dauernde, einwandfreie Funktion zu gewährleisten, ist
eine schonende Behandlung dieser feinmechanischen
Geräte unbedingt Voraussetzung.
Die Garantie wird ungültig, wenn Eingriffe oder
Reparaturen innerhalb der Garantiezeit ohne unsere
Zustimmung ausgeführt werden.
Wird der Zähler zur Steuerung von Maschinen oder
Ablaufprozessen benützt, bei denen infolge Ausfalls
des Zählers eine Beschädigung der Maschine oder
ein Unfall des Bedienungspersonals möglich ist, dann
müssen zusätzliche Sicherheitsvorkehrungen getrof-
fen werden. Bei Installation und Gebrauch des Zählers
sind die einschlägigen Unfallverhütungsvorschriften
einzuhalten. Während der Montage am Gerät unbe-
dingt Netzversorgung abschalten!

FS219 screw fastening, hand and electrical reset.
Should be mode in accordance with the wiring dia-
gram affixed to the counter.
Because of the risk of a short circuit through contact
with earth or ground, connections should only be
made when the lines are isolated from power supply.
Depress the reset button (1) as far as it will go and
hold it in that position. Preset each figure wheel by
pressing the individual preset buttons (2), the sequen-
ce is immaterial. Release the reset button. Depress
the reset button once again in order to check that the
required number has been properly preset.
The counter subtracts from the preset number and
when
zero is reached, it actuates a changeover contact
which remains in the actuated position until manually or
electrically reset, even if further impulses are received.
This applies also to any pre-contact that may be fitted.
FS218: Depressing the reset button once is sufficient
to cause the counter to repeat the cycle.
FS219: These counters are provided with a resetting
solenoid and a resetting impulse lasting
approx. 300 ms (max. 1 min.) or a single
actuation of the reset button is sufficient to
cause the counter to repeat the cycle.
The counter should not be reset more than once
every 10 sec.
Important-please note:
The reset solenoid of this counter is protected by a
thermo-electric switch. Should the reset coil be ener-
gised in error for longer than 6 minutes, the circuit will
automatically be broken. The circuit can be remade
by resetting the thermoelectric switch by means of
depressing the plunger through the hole provided on
the top of the counter. The counter will then be ready

In the case of inductive loads, a spark quench should
be provided.
The counters will work up to 50 million counting im-
pulses and 600 000 resets without maintenance.
They should be carefully handled to ensure their conti-
nuous and reliable operation.
The guarantee becomes void if the counter is opened
up or repaired during the period of the guarantee,
unless it be done with our prior agreement.
When a counter is used to control a machine or
manufacturing process damage may be caused to the
machine or the operator if the counter failed to ope-
rate. For this reason the following safety precautions
should be noted:
On installing and using the counter the prevailing rules
for the prevention of accidents should be observed.
During installation care should be taken to ensure that
the power has positively been switched off.
